A pair of Swedish candelabra made around 1790-1800. Plasterfigures holding gilt bronze candleholders. The fugures depicting the Goddess Ceres searching for her daughter Proserpina that were kidnapped by Pluto.
These candelabra were designed for the Royal Castle in Stckholm to be used in the sculpture gallery for dramatic effects.
