Swedish empire-chandelier made around 1815
Swedish empire-chandelier made around 1815. A blackpatinated copperdish holds three arms in the shape of eagleheads. On top of the eagleheads sits the candleholders which are in shape of flames. The chandelier has an unusual top-part made of blackpatinated and gilt bronce. The top and bottom hangs together with chains made of gilt brass.
This is a model influenced by old Greec or Roman oil lamps.
