Swedish gustavian chandelier made around year 1790
Swedish gustavian chandelier made around year 1790. Made of gilt and silvered brass and bronce. Its of a somewhat unusual model with straight arms coming out of the ring to hold the candles. It is made with four candles around the ring and one candle centrally placed in the middle, so called poor mans candle.
This chandelier has candleholders that are cast of bronce which is unusual and a sign that it is made early during the gustavian period.
