Gustavian chandelier signed Carl Henric Brolin. Ca 1810

A high quality chandelier made of one out of two Swedish chandelier makers that sometimes signed their works, Carl Henric Brolin. He was the master during the late Gustavian era and this chandelier is a very typical work by him.
The chandelier is made of brass and bronze that is gilded. The proportions are exquisite and all the ornaments that you see on this chandelier are typical for him. The crystals are of high quality. Note especially the top of the chandelier with its “hat” created with crystals. Also worth noting is the bottom with a central flower shaped gilt brass piece from which long ribs with hanging crystals comes out.
On this bottom part you will see his signature, CHB.
