Swedish Rococo polished Brass and Cut-Glass Chandelier, Circa 1760

A small Swedish rococo polished brass and cut-glass four-light chandelier, 18th century. The brass cage hung with cut-glass leaf-shaped pendants and decorated with crystals in the shape of flowers and has a net bound with thin crystal glass straws. This was fashionable during this period in Stockholm.The center stem dressed with blown glass pieces ending below with a blown glass bowl. The small size is quite unusual. This type of Swedish chandeliers was made during both the Swedish Baroque and Rococo periods and the model was very popular. In a very good condition and newly restored. All the crystals are from the period. A very nice and beautiful example of this period.
