Very large (190 cm) Empire-chandelier, early 19th c.

A monumental and very rare Empire chandelier with 12 candleholders. The chandelier is partly gilt, partly silvered. The contrast between the gold and silver gives the chandelier elegance and vividness.
All pendants are made of silvered and gilt bronze.
As a finial hangs a large carved alabaster bowl.
