An Impressive Swedish Empire Gilt Wood Console Table With a Marble Top

An impressive and very rare Swedish late gustavian/early empire eight leg gilt wood console/side table with a original light grey, bleu turquin marble top. Made by Jonas Frisk (1787-1849), Stockholm around 1810 after drawings by Carl Christoffer Gjörwell. Giltwood and painted. Retour d`Égypte style. Similar type of consoles can be found in the Royal castle Haga and Roserberg.
