This exquisite pair of 19th-century bronze candlesticks is made by the renowned French foundry F. Barbedienne et Cie, known for its superior craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each candlestick is elegantly designed in a neoclassical style, featuring a caryatid figure supporting the candle holder, draped in flowing robes with finely sculpted details. The caryatids are different from each other and form the pair together. Both signed on the stem and one also signed at the bottom.
