A Swedish baroque cabinet in amazing condition. Veneered with alder root, elm root, elm and masur beech. Fittings of gilded brass. Straight shape with broken crown. Profiled door mirrors with shelves and drawers behind, base cabinet with arched front, interior of four drawers. Sides with carrying handles. Blackened ball feet. The inside is painted in light blue. The inside has been repainted in the early 20th c but the original paint is under the newer paint and can be retrieved. These kind of cabinets were the pride of the home in those days. Not many has survived until today why it is rare to see them.
