Large 12-light 18th c chandelier

This chandelier has its 6+6 arms with candle holders in two floors with six longer crystal arms at the lower floor and six smaller arms at the upper. The central stem is composed by e number of handblown crystal pieces with two halfround inside-silvered bowls. These bowls hold the 12 glassarms that still has their original glass candleholders (which is rare on this type of chandeliers). The finial of the chandelier is a handblown and cut pearshaped glass piece which is just wonderful. The size is amazing. These type of chandeliers were made in many countries on continental Europe and also i England in this period. Bohemia, which was the main producer of crystal glass in the 18t c, was where most the chandeliers originated from but there was simliar ones made in Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and other countries. This one is probably Bohemian but could very well also be English. In the book "English Chandeliers" there are several simlilar ones depicted.
